Try to type in about:dev in the edit field for the background image and try to select one using the fileselector.
If you write your text in a text editor keep attention on the paragraphs. The built-in HPP textbrowser interpretates empty lines as paragraphs (the algorithm is more complex but that should be not of general interest).
Ascii files for the HomePage Penguin must be written with the Atari charset. Emulator users should write their text in an Atari text editor - or convert them with HTML-Help.
JAnE is the favourite editor for the Penguin. Why? Because the Penguin can convert the text attributes and colours that JAnE offers you since v1.5!
